The Physics Collection
This collection was started at the Institute of Physics as a complementary part of a precious collection of old physics instruments. The books span from from the second half of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century; Italian and other languages editions are included.
It is worth mentioning an important 19th century work by Ferrara’s scientist Antonio Roiti (Elementi di fisica, second edition, Firenze, 1887-1888) and an early 20th century work by Giovanni Celoria, Atlante astronomico, published by Hoepli in 1904, containing 41 miniature painted charts and 3 zincograph tables.
The collection is available at: Science and Technology Library
