Onsite reading and borrowing

All users need to be registered to get a library admittance card.

Onsite reading and access to reference works and open shelf books, journals and multimedia:  unrestricted to all users.

Books borrowing: restricted to academic staff, students and registered users living in the provinces of Ferrara and Rovigo (UFE Node users).

Print journals, multimedia and special collections are for use in the library only.

Under 18-year-old students willing to be registered for borrowing need a parental authorization to get their library admittance card.

According to the category of users, different quota of books and length of borrowing periods are set (see Library Regulations).

Overdue loans: users will be  unable to borrow other items for a period of time as long as the delay in returning books.

After two recalls, users who have not returned overdue loans can be suspended up to  6 months.

Undergraduate students may also undergo other restrictions as detailed in the Unife Students General Regulations  (Regolamento studenti art. 56).
