Interlibrary Loan - Document delivery for Unife users

WHO?  only registered students, academic and other Unife staff are entitled to make ILL and DD requests

WHAT? you can request only items (books/chapters/journal articles) that are NOT in BiblioFe catalogue (Ferrara academic or other local libraries holdings). Please notice that all items should be requested for research or studying

HOW MANY requests? max 3 requests per week for each type of item (i.e. books, chapters/parts of books, journal articles)

HOW can you make your ILL-DD requests?: please fill in the relevant form, after you have logged using your Unife email ID

WHO MANAGES online requests?  Librarians in the ILL-DD central office

WHEN will you receive items requested?: delivery times depend mostly on the lending library; our ILL-DD office usually manages requests within 3 working days

 

An automatic e-mail will be sent to your unife address to confirm that your request has been received by the ILL-DD office; if you don't receive it, please contact the ILL-DD office:

ILL-Interlibrary Loan (Books)

Some items are usually not for ILL (reference books such as dictionaries, theses, special collections, recently published books etc.)

You will collect requested books at your library usually within 15 working days. The ILL-DD office will contact you for any problem that may cause delay.

DD-Document delivery (chapters/parts of books, journal articles)

Copies will be made only in compliace with copyright restrictions and fair use

You will receive requested items usually within 5 working days. The ILL-DD office will contact you for any problem that may cause delay.
